Peter Place is a pretty busy road in Sandton but right at the bottom on the other side of William Nicol is a cul-de-sac with a traffic circle and smooth tar which makes for some fun downhill skateboarding. There are some offices there and a Scout Hall so the best time to skate is after 7pm on weekdays and afternoons on weekends so avoid traffic.

The run is quite short but you can throw in some variations with the traffic circle and islands and it's steepest right before the circle so it feels fast, especially at night. We generally start the run on William Nicol where there is a turning lane that isn't used much at night (always be alert as it is a very busy road) and turn left towards the cul-de-sac.

It's a good spot to skate when the roads are wet as the surface is smooth and there are no blind corners. Sections of the road are very wide too so you can avoid hitting the pavement.

It's named after the Honda Dealership on the corner of William Nicol and Peter Place
