hey guys. what gear would you like to see more of here in SA? things that are hard to come by.

protective gear!!

pads
helmets
full face helmets - someone needs to buy a container of Bell Drop helmets from say 2005. and retail them for R600

Yeah, protective gear is hard to come buy. Even two years ago the situation was better. Back then I picked up a set of Industrial Rideshop pads that served me well. Now they don't even bring them in anymore. All you can get are these cheap, crappy pads that are just not very safe.

First Nature is looking to bring in some 661 gear, but that stuff is quite expensive...

Riser pads (shock absorbers) and mounting gear. :D

As these are the things im currently needing to buy, as im not going anywhere with no trucks to my board. :'(

Hi Low Rider. Depending on what you want to do, you don't really need risers. mounting gear you can get from any skate/surf shop.

Im looking to use the pads as shock absorbers on the drop through deck.

it's really not necessary, but if it's your personal preference, go with it. ;)

i've also found the exact same ones at a screw specialist. you need to take them samples though as i have been unable to find out what the exact measurements are.

Hi - I have a question about our local longboard suppliers - I know some manufacture here in SA, but do most of our local longboards come from China?
