Hello.

I want to know what you think of this board? I want another board for cruising and commuting and this came highly recommended.
Earthwing Carbon SuperGlider 4-Ply Deck w/ Grip
4.5
Length: 38"
Width: 9.5"
Deck Only: Select "Complete Skateboard" for full setup.
Camber: None + Wedged Nose
IMPORTANT: Buy Bones Hardcore Bushings when buying Independent 169 trucks. For Carving and Cruising: Soft (75-125) Med (126-155) & Hard (156+). For Downhill: add a pack of Venom DH Bushings (85a+) to go with the Bones Bushings. (We will properly install them for you)

Here is what we know about the Earthwing Carbon Superglider longboard skateboard: It's sick! Brian over at Earthwing knows what skateboarders want. The features of the Superglider create an all in one freeride board that can handle high speeds as well as get you up and over a deadly pot hole with the cool built in kick tail. At 9.5" of (EFP) Effective foot platform, you will feel comfortable in stand-up slide and deep downhill carves. A thin 4-ply design complete with carbon fiber stringers gives the rider a comfortable amount of flex to help you glide over rough patches of asphalt and boosts you out of hard carves. Also, The Earthwing Carbon SuperGlider longboard skateboard has sufficient wheel wells for looser reverse king pin longbord trucks like Randals, Paris, and Bears. You can for sure put on a 70mm wheel and feel comfortable turning. If you are looking for a light weight longboard for campus this is the one! It is very agile for a 38" board and still remains super easy to carry around campus. Try it with some Independent 169mm Longboard trucks and the 70mm Orangatang Stimulus wheels and you will have a freeride slide machine under your feet. The SuperGlider is by far one of the fastest selling boards at MuirSkate.com.

Apparently this board is safe enough to ride without a helmet and gloves! http://www.earthwingskates.com/products/decks-a-completes/superglider.html

Otherwise looks like a nice deck. Pricy for what you're getting. Wheel base might be a bit short for a beginner.

Have a look at the Project Rebel series. I reckon that might be what you're looking for and they're local.
