If you're just looking for a nice long cruise for carving, Montmedy road at the back of Lorraine has about a 2km stretch with a lekke gentle incline and smooth tarmac. You have to catch it on a good day though. You want the wind behind you, and you also have to go at a time of the day when there is not too much traffic.
